Sportbikes are a thing of the past.

Had a spirited ride on my FZR 400/600 yesterday and eventhough it is nowhere near the weight and power of a modern sportsbike it just doesn't make sense on the police and pothole infested roads of today.

For a while now I've had a longing for one of these, and after yesterdays ride, I am even more convinced that this will be my next bike.

One of these beauties was up for sale not too long ago in France. The seller wouldn't respond to my emails. Still have a quiet longing for one. However, seeing as they were made for the Japanese market there are very little in Europe.

Oh well, we'll just keep dreaming.
